Engagement

This was a cake I made for a friend's cousin's engagement. Yes! the flowers are handmade out of sugarpaste. It was extremely relaxing making them. The colour theme was lilac and white.

Child's play

Happy Birthday Arav! Well cuppies for a little boy's birthday. Had some creative juices flowing during the weekend which explains a different style of icing. Cute!

Raissa's Garden

Yet another version of the garden themed cake that so many love especially for girly birthday parties. I personally like this one.

Duck Star

A variation of the Rubber Ducky cake for a 6 year old's birthday. I must admit, icing the star was quite a challenge as it was a very moist lemon drizzle cake so the crumbs kept sticking to the icing. But I reckon the cake looks pretty good. Happy Birthday Ariff!

Vintage?

Was experimenting with cupcake designs this morning. Yes this morning, woke up early and there was nothing on tv to watch. Was looking at some extra cupcakes I had from yesterday's bake-out........ although the creative juices were not exactly flowing this morning, I decided to just see what I could come out with. These look kinda vintage to me. Not too sure whether those are the exact words but yah.....vintage

Rainbows

The theme of this little girl's birthday was rainbow magic. I made a series of cupcakes with rainbows, clouds and gold pots. We all know there is always a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow...... but getting to the end of the rainbow is another story. Apologies, lighting a little poor as this was taken early morning.

Ray and Skye - The Wedding

It was so much fun making this cake. My friends Ray and Skye got married on Saturday and they had yellow, white and black as their theme colours. It was a great opportunity to use black to accent a wedding cake. Gives it so much character. Congrats you guys! waiting for more pics of your wedding!

Hantaran

I had a request for a "hantaran cake" of sorts for an engagement. Purple and white was the theme. I absolutely love this double layered cake. I also made some cupcakes to accompany the cake.

Cupcakes for fun

My uni friends from Mauritius and Sri Lanka are here in Malaysia visiting and doing some mad shopping. I made these cupcakes for them. Managed to get some pictures of them devouring the cupcakes.

Pretty Bouquet

Another chance at making a cupcake bouquet. This "arrangement" was very pretty. Made in white, it would be lovely for a wedding too.

Teddy

My friend's daughter, Elizabeth celebrated her 1st birthday on Saturday. This is another two tier cake made for her birthday party. The bottom tier is a moist chocolate cake and the top tier is rich butter.

GIRLS

Last week I had the opportunity to bake a two tier birthday cake for twin girls. Work started at least one week before with the moulding of the girls. I had a lot of fun and I hope the birthday girls liked the cake
