After one week holidaying in Macau, I have started to think of what to bake, what to bake. En route to Macau I treated myself to a few baking books from Kinokuniya, Singapore. I thrive on these things.
Anyway, after a long day at work yesterday, I picked out a recipe from a book I have had for a couple of months. Did not want to do anything fancy (although I had recently bought some buttermilk and mascarpone cheese.. hmmmm) so I decided to try this recipe which is a posh-ier version of the chiffon cake. This came out really nice! light, airy and is full of the flavours of cinnamon and chocolate, flavours that brings a lot of warmth, just like a cup of hot chocolate sprinkled with a dash of cinnamon. ahhhh.......
