The beauty of spring



A birthday cake for a friend's mum. Thought it'd be nice to use the chocolate technique to decorate the cake. Furthermore, the chocolate will complement the coffee butter cake. I totally forgot about it until recently, when I was going through my cake decorating books and was reminded of it. I love it! bright cheery flowers made of white chocolate. Apologies, the lighting was not too good.

From the friend who's mum's birthday it was : Cake was delicious, icing light and not overly sweet, coffee cake tasty without being overpowering. Birthday girl was so impressed, very well recived all round. Thanks so much BC :)
