I had gotten used to doing cakes with optimus prime on it but this time a request for bumble bee. It was incredibly difficult to find a proper picture of bumble bee that was feasible to be translated in icing and yet not overtly simplified. The other thing was, I discovered that there are at least 2 versions of this character. The anime version and the what I call "movie" version. The anime version was attractive enough as it was definitely doable in icing but gave the movie version a chance and it turned out to be something I am very proud of. Also the birthday boy's mum decided that it was the "movie" version her son wanted.
