So I have concluded that my 7 year old oven is ill and it is not getting better. Repaired it a couple of times but from the feedback that I have been getting from some close friends, the problem seems to arise with the butter cakes especially, the bottom of the cake seems to be a little dense. I do apologise to anyone who have received such a cake and I am trying to rectify this problem.
Will be acquiring a new oven soon and in the meantime will be making use of my spare oven which should be fine. This is really irritating me,this butter cake thing. *Sigh*
