Truffles with cake

So there was this disaster that happened at home a couple of days ago. I over filled 2 cake tins without thinking. It was like a massive volcanic eruption in my oven with 2 exploding chocolate cakes. Instead of putting the cake to waste i.e by discarding it, I found a recipe for chocolate truffles using chocolate cake crumbs. The results were fantastic! There's a bit more chew to these goodies compared to those made out of cookie crumbs ( I reckon) Full chocolate overload indeed!

CORNFLAKES!

one of my favourite cookies of all time is the humble cornflake cookies. It is neither too sweet nor too salty, crunchy and chewy with the addition of raisins in the batter.
The fragrance that emits from the kitchen each time the cookies are baked is intoxicating. These were made at about 10 pm. Although tired, I was truly satisfied with the outcome of this cookie.

Cookies in close up, I shall leave you, please feast your eyes;P
