Purple and Blue Whimsical Wedding Cake

I know same picture of the same cake but this is one of my favourite cakes now. A little dissapointed with the sugarpaste that dimpled a little but then again as one famous baker said " there can never be a perfect cake".

Courtyard Wedding Cake

I had the priviledge of baking a cake for a wedding at the Courtyard Garden. I have not been there before but when I went to set up the cake, I was like "not bad this place". Hope the bride liked the cake, Congratulations Ann!

Pastels All Around

These were for 2 different orders but for the same person. A bunch of pastel hearts which the bride took all the way to Taiping to top vanilla swirl cupcakes. So pretty. The stars were made for a birthday cake for one of her bridesmaids. I think it looks attractive eventhough there isn't buttercream on it. Love

Laena's Cake

A beautiful wedding, a beautiful cake. The bride, requested for a white cake but I added some pink ribbons to make it a little "warmer" as opposed to a completely white cake. I am happy with how this turned out. Some of the pictures were taken before delivery and one at the venue. I am proud to say I handmade the sugar flowers myself *big *grin* Congrats Laena and Usama!

Cinderella Wedding

I am waiting for the official photographs to come out as my basic camera could not capture the cakes as well as I wanted to. A cinderella themed akad nikah for a friend. She was stunning in her wedding outfit!. will upload more pictures once I get this sorted.

This was also the "opening ceremony" for my newly acquired perspex cupcake tier ( 7 layers in total) all the way from UK. I love love love it!

Aina's hantaran cakes

So what have I been up to lately, not so much christmas baking cause am taking a break during the christmas holidays to spend time with the family. But before that, have been busy fulfilling a couple of orders and one of it is a request for 2 hantaran cakes with a lilac and white theme for the boy's side and pink for the girl's side. The bride wanted something different, something that was whimsical. She did add a flower on top of the pink cake.

Wedding cupcakes - peach and white

I made this last night and was planning on taking loads of pictures from different angles ( because I think they are so sweet!) but plans were foiled when my camera battery died on me and as I was rushing, could not find my charger. The white sugarpaste is imprinted with filigree like patterns but did not catch it with my dead camera.Argh!!! hopefully I would be able to get more pictures from the bride herself.

Michelle's Wedding Cupcakes

It's a Monday mornign but am still recovering not from a hangover but from the frenzy of the past weekend. I had taken on quite a number of orders so it was baking non-stop Thurs, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

A lilac & silver themed wedding had me baking over 300 cupcakes in different shades for a friend's wedding. She had a brilliant idea of putting the cupcake stand next to the registration table during cocktails so her guests can help themselves to little cuppies. The figurines were from the bride herself. I think it definitely added some character to the cake stand.

Hantaran Orchids

A simple and elegant Hantaran Cake. I was asked to make it pink and white. Dusted some shimmer over the cake to give it the "glow" and extra "oomph". Am happy with it.

Mr & Mrs Pereira

A cupcake tree I made over the weekend for a wedding. Colour theme was baby blue and apple green. The couple wanted some ferns to be placed on the tiers. I had taken pictures of the cupcake tree both with and without the ferns. Was incredibly satisfied with the way the cupcakes turned out. Love them!

Shireen's cupcakes

Am feeling not too creative today to think of a name for these beautiful cupcakes my friend ordered for a wedding. Will just settle for "Shireen's cupcakes" then.

Vintage Rose

A twist to an engagement cake I made a couple of months back. Same colour but with some changes for a 70th birthday. The gold somehow gives it a vintage classy look. The flowers were requested to be multi-coloured. Well kinda, opted for multi shaded to match the lilac. Orange poppy seed it was.

Wedding Cake : Victoria

I was given a free hand on baking a wedding cake for a friend's cousin. The theme colour was a deep gold colour but I was allowed to use pale yellow too. For the longest time I was debating whether to go for a sweetie pie kinda cake - which I am always inclined to, or try something different, a more elegant cake. I came up with the design as I went along. Am satisfied with the results, especially with the gold accents.

Apologies my camera does not do justice to the cake.
