A "thank you" gift actually ordered by a friend for those who had given her gifts and well wishes on the birth of her son. Simple but different, some blue M&Ms, and 2 sugar cookies.

Baby Shower at the office

This post is not so much to feature the cakes but the fun stuff that we have been up to at the office. 3 of our colleagues are very pregnant and should be delivering in the next few weeks. So we organised a baby shower themed "chicks". Some pictures to enjoy....

Nikky's baby shower

Made a cake for a friend's baby shower last weekend. It was a beach themed party and I wanted something that meets the theme, something not too busy or gaudy, and something baby-ish. I think the simple designs look really nice.

Baby Shower

Some cute cookies and cupcakes for a friend's baby shower. The cookies I have made before but I had some trouble packing them this time cause they spread slightly while baking, making them bigger than usual. Could not fit them into the usual plastic bags, tried stuffing them into individual boxes but they did not look so nice. In the end settled for wrapping them in good quality cling firm and love love love the way they look!.

Aria's Full Moon

A good friend of mine just delivered, well not really "just" since it is the full moon celebration, a beautiful baby girl. Very posh name "Aria Laxmi Krishnan". So always a reason for celebration, crown shaped cookies for the office colleagues, cupcakes and more cookies for her nieces and nephews.

Baby Booties

My first time making baby booties. These were so fun to make.... a double layer butter cake sandwiched with rich buttercream for a baby shower. Can't wait to experiment with other type of booties....

Little Baby James

We had a thanksgiving dinner for my nephew, baby James. These were the table gifts I made. Was feeling a little under the weather at that time so the cupcake was a simple one.

Eva's Full Moon

A cute little bub's full moon. The cupcakes were done according to the theme of the nursery. I was told that the nursery items were only available in the states or was it UK. Anyway, they were whimsical and unconventional. Love the ideas!

My Nephew : Baby James' Cuppies

My nephew's full moon was over the weekend and I was given the priviledge of baking his full moon cupcakes to be delivered to friends and family. Nice pastel-ly colours with baby designs on it was the way to go. Chia, will definitely bake you some when you get back end of the year for a belated celebration! hope you like it.

Baby Shower Cupcakes

Creative juices were flowing last night with loads of ideas and colour schemes. I had a last minute request for some baby shower cupcakes. I did not have time to do fancy icing designs ( was thinking rubber duckies, baby onesies etc) but came out with what I would perceive as simple but satisfying designs.

Baby Dylan

Cupcakes for little baby Dylan's party. A friend ordered these for a friend's newborn baby party. Hmmm only found out the name after I made the cupcakes but these are oh so adorable!

By the way, apologies for the bad photography, was tired and I reckon my hand was shaking.

Kaitlyn's Full Moon

Perfect little boxes of cupcakes for a little baby girl's full moon. The boxes are actually tied with a ballet pink ribbon but hmmmmm my not so canggih camera decided to change the colour for me but you get the idea....

Baby Onesies

Two "thank you" cakes for friends who had given well wishes on the birth of a baby boy. I was given free hand to do the cake as long as it is "baby" related. I always love onesies, so cute.

I sincerely apologise for the bad lighting as like the rose cake 2 post before, the colour is not great at all! pale yellow and pale blue are the colour themes.

Baby Allison's Birthday

A friend from primary school who is now a neighbour was celebrating her cute baby's 1st birthday. Was not able to attend the party so baked a cake for baby Allison. There were also cupcakes as favours.

Rubber Duck Cookies

These were made for a rubber ducky themed baby shower. The icing was perfect this time. Am glad.

Baby Blocks

My colleague's twin girls turned one over the weekend. It has been a long long while since I last got invited to a children's party. The girls were so cute! My contribution to the party was a baby block cake.
