Transformers Cookies

Pity I was not able to take any pictures of a farm themed birthday I baked for just a couple of days ago, brownies, duck shaped sandwiches, farm animal cookies, cupcakes etc. It was a lot of fun. Anyways, these were a little last minute but managed to accomodate transformers cookies. All done free hand so I guess it is safe to say that they were all handmade as opposed to computer printed sugar sheets. Not too keen on those things. Anyways, hope the little guy likes them.

Gingerbreadmen with songket

So another idea that Nadia had for another of her hantaran dulangs was gingerbread men since it is the Christmas season and her now hubby loves gingerbread from what I was told. To give it a localised feel to this, gingerbread men with songket. I absolutely love this. They are very unique I must say.

Cheshire Cat

A tall order I thought initially. I knew this was going to take awhile to make for the simple reason, I don't own a cookie cutter in the shape of the cheshire cat! Was thinking for days what shaped cutters would be closest to this face but in the end decided I had no other choice but to cut the cookie dough out one by one using a knife. Time consuming but was worth it! heard they were a hit at the Alice in Wonderland themed party.

Baby Shower

Some cute cookies and cupcakes for a friend's baby shower. The cookies I have made before but I had some trouble packing them this time cause they spread slightly while baking, making them bigger than usual. Could not fit them into the usual plastic bags, tried stuffing them into individual boxes but they did not look so nice. In the end settled for wrapping them in good quality cling firm and love love love the way they look!.
