Wedding Cake in progress




I am making a wedding cake for my friend's wedding this weekend. Have done the top layers and will be working on the bottom layer(s) today onwards. Just a preview of the design..... fun a lot of fun!

Cinnamon Raisin Buns


I had bought this ready mix bun flour and I had tried making it over the weekend. As usual once out of the oven, it was hot, soft and yummy but I left it to cool till the next day and it turned real hard. Will no longer use ready-mixed flour. Will try making buns again from scratch!

Yummy egg tarts. This use to be my all time childhood favourite treat. Buttery and sunny looking, this never fails to entice people towards the simple custard filling and crumbly buttery crust.

An apple tart for a baby celebration! a request for blue hearts. I made them out of fondant, they turned out a nice blue.

The Mini






Ah! how nice it is to look at cute beautiful things. Had some extra butter cake batter last night so I decided to make some mini cupcakes again. This time using a different nozzle to experiment with a different design. The smell of butter was intoxicating!

Banana Caramel Cheesecake


This honestly still need to be improved. It was baked in a bain marie but turned out pretty soft in the centre. The caramel, a little overwhelming. Will see how the reviews go.

Cheddar Cheese Muffins


A gorgeous recipe that I tried last night. It was super easy to make and yet tasty enough, especially when eaten straight out of the oven where it is crusty on the outside and soft on the inside. Would recommend heating it up if eating it the next day. Very tasty treat it is.
