A large orange poppy seed cake for a birthday party. I dressed it up with orange segments and piped some designs with cream cheese at the side of the cake. I really like it!

"Thank you" cookies in Pink and Blue
Cupcake Tree
Finally, I managed to figure this out. Although it may look very easy as just cupcakes but the construction of the "tree" is quite tricky. I delivered this on Saturday and I was very pleased with it. Of course, colour theme for the wedding was blue and pink. Ahh....... so pretty. This could accomodate about 200 cupcakes

The beauty of spring
A birthday cake for a friend's mum. Thought it'd be nice to use the chocolate technique to decorate the cake. Furthermore, the chocolate will complement the coffee butter cake. I totally forgot about it until recently, when I was going through my cake decorating books and was reminded of it. I love it! bright cheery flowers made of white chocolate. Apologies, the lighting was not too good.

Fresh Raspberry Yoghurt Muffins
I decided to try this new recipe from a cupcake book my sister bought for me from Melbourne. It is mentioned in the book that these muffins were especially designed for non-cake lovers. I like it for breakfast. A moist muffin with raspberry swirled in between topped with sliced almonds and a light dusting of icing sugar.

Cranberry Walnut Cookies ~ a Hit!
Since it was Hari Raya, had some requests from friends for cookies that are a little different from the usual delights. I found some recipes and the cookies came out really nice. These are crunchy cranberry walnut cookies, with the use of wholemeal flour, it comes out light and not to mention healthy.

Strawberry Dreams
I managed to get some lovely fresh strawberries the other day from the market. I could not resist them so as usual, I thought I'd buy them first and decide later what to do with them. Instead of using strawberries as a decorative piece, this time strawberries will be the essence of the dessert. These I called " strawberry dreams" a fresh strawberry mousse filled into buttery shortcrust pastry cups and topped with cream cheese for that cheesecake kinda feel.....loved the colours!
