"Thank you" cookies in Pink and Blue

These were also very pretty, the bride ordered it as thank you favours for those who helped out at the wedding. Very thoughtful!

Cupcake Tree

Finally, I managed to figure this out. Although it may look very easy as just cupcakes but the construction of the "tree" is quite tricky. I delivered this on Saturday and I was very pleased with it. Of course, colour theme for the wedding was blue and pink. Ahh....... so pretty. This could accomodate about 200 cupcakes

The beauty of spring

A birthday cake for a friend's mum. Thought it'd be nice to use the chocolate technique to decorate the cake. Furthermore, the chocolate will complement the coffee butter cake. I totally forgot about it until recently, when I was going through my cake decorating books and was reminded of it. I love it! bright cheery flowers made of white chocolate. Apologies, the lighting was not too good.

Flower power

I had some remainder cupcakes so I decided to practice on my piping. Flowers compared to other designs requires the most practice. Am quite happy with this.

Starry starry Night.....

Ah I could not help singing that song whilst I was baking this cake. A last minute order but I enjoyed making it. Stars are made of chocolate and dusted with gold dust....... I love it!

A tribute to Pucci!

It was a challenge to make a pucci inspired cupcake piece for a glamorous birthday party. As opposed to individually decorated cupcakes which I initially had in mind, I was asked for it to be a one piece design. It turned out ok I guess.....hope it meets the criteria

Fresh Raspberry Yoghurt Muffins

I decided to try this new recipe from a cupcake book my sister bought for me from Melbourne. It is mentioned in the book that these muffins were especially designed for non-cake lovers. I like it for breakfast. A moist muffin with raspberry swirled in between topped with sliced almonds and a light dusting of icing sugar.

London Cheesecake

One of my friends has consistently ordered this cake for birthdays. This is a creamy smooth cheesecake. This time round, a special request was made for a cheesecake for a dog lover thus the paws.

Polka dots

Most people cannot resist the cute-ness of polka dots. I love them, whether they are pink and brown, blue and yellow, orange and fuschia hmmmm...... anyways, made this fun polka dot design for a kid's birthday. I hope he liked it:)

Sweet cupcakes

I had an order for some cupcakes for Hari Raya. Specifically for a little girl:) therefore, the icing colours are pretty pastels!

Lemon Cream Cheese cookies

Another favourite in my cookie list are the lemon cream cheese cookies. Subtly lemony, satisfying crunch from the almond nibs.

Cranberry Walnut Cookies ~ a Hit!

Since it was Hari Raya, had some requests from friends for cookies that are a little different from the usual delights. I found some recipes and the cookies came out really nice. These are crunchy cranberry walnut cookies, with the use of wholemeal flour, it comes out light and not to mention healthy.

Strawberry Dreams

I managed to get some lovely fresh strawberries the other day from the market. I could not resist them so as usual, I thought I'd buy them first and decide later what to do with them. Instead of using strawberries as a decorative piece, this time strawberries will be the essence of the dessert. These I called " strawberry dreams" a fresh strawberry mousse filled into buttery shortcrust pastry cups and topped with cream cheese for that cheesecake kinda feel.....loved the colours!

Baby Blue

My friend was organising a baby shower. She requested for a cake with turtles on it. This was an orange cake with cream cheese frosting. Chose blue as it was going to be a boy!

White Chocolate Cheese + stars?

I recently made a white chocolate cheesecake and I was requested to put some stars on it, was quite happy with how cheery it turned out!
