Financiers

I found this fantastic recipe for financiers. A french cake it is. Very light and may I say very healthy (comparatively). They are made out of egg whites, almond meal, some butter and topped with raspberry. I like it very much and they look great too. If only I discovered these before my wedding, would have made them as favours.

Cherry Loaf

I came back early from Singapore yesterday and was feeling really restless. So, I decided to try out a new recipe that does not involve too much work but has potential in creating a good cake. I tried out a cherry loaf which came out perfect. Moist and buttery cake with a hint of sweet/sour cherries infused between the crumbs. A little drizzle of royal icing on top, gave it a little crunch.

Baby's Full Moon

Over the weekend I delivered a batch of full moon boxes which I had great fun making. From the conceptualisation of the boxes ( the colour and decor were customised) to the baking and packing. This box contained fusion contents, cupcakes, ang koo, red eggs, cookie ( milk bottle shape). Very pretty.
