Hubby's birthday

Yesterday was all fun. Managed to pull off a surprise birthday party for my hubby with the help of his good friends. The party was held at Cava, Bangsar. Made this cake for him and the cuppies were party favours. I am satisfied.

Transfomers themed party

A friend requested for some Transformers themed cakes for her son's birthday. I was initially thinking of how I was going to design the cupcakes for it to be boyish and yet not boring. I had a lot of fun!

Cupcake Bouquet ~ Mother's Day

I had a couple of request for the new cupcake bouquets for Mother's Day. I had so much fun making these, different colours and different ribbons. Love it!

Little Cakes

I made some cupcakes for a little girl's birthday party over the weekend. This time I made used of some new nozzles that I just acquired. Love the effect!.

Noddy

I vaguely remembered reading about "Noddy" in my primary school library back in Ipoh. Was surprised that Noddy is still around today. My friend wanted a Noddy cake for her niece's birthday. It was not so easy to make it but am quite satisfied with the end result of the cake. Happy Birthday Amerleen!

Cupcakes cupcakes

Awhile ago, my friend Shelley asked me to bake some "Sweet-looking" cupcakes for her bridesmaid's birthday. I did something which I thought was sweet enough.

Manchester United ~ 2nd Edition

Another request for Man-U cupcakes and this time with footballs amongst the swirls. Took me sometime to work out how to design the football. After a few errors and some help from hubby, thanks dear! ( yes! I know something so easy became pretty difficult, especially on a small surface) I got it. Apologies for the bad lighting.

Crazy Cake

I simply love the design of this cake. Got the idea from Mich Turner...... his book of course with the most amazing looking cakes.

Rubber Ducky

Duck in action!

A couple of us gals had a baby shower for a friend. I decided to try my hand at sugarpaste modelling again, something easy...... a rubber duck lookalike. I think I was quite happy with this. My friend loves chocolate cake so I decided to make her a tower of chocolate cake with the rubber duck on top.

Whimsical Cupcakes

Colours evoke different feelings........ I was inspired by one of my cake books for the colours of these cupcakes. I was trying to move out of my comfort zone of the usual pastel-ly colours. I love these.......... I think they look kinda whimsical. hmmmmmm......
